Will you set your eyes upon wealth, when suddenly it is gone?  For riches certainly make

themselves wings, like an eagle that flies toward the heavens.  Proverbs 23:5 Amplified Bible

Father God, I pray we do not follow a mirage.

Let us not follow worthless pursuits,—things that do nothing but give us false hopes.

Things that turn out to be nothing, wasting our time and energy,

leaving us empty and confused.

If you look carefully into the perfect law that sets you free, and if you do what it says and don’t forget what you heard, then God will bless you for doing it.  James 1:25 NLT

Let us instead follow Your Word.

A stable, solid rock of truth.

Reflecting Your image

Empowering us with life and hope that is fulfilled,

Faith that is of substance and everlasting love.

He will turn the hearts of the fathers to their children, and he will cause those who are

rebellious to accept the wisdom of the godly.  Luke 1:17, NLT

Let us value all life—our children, the unborn, but not just the unborn,

those who are born as well.

Let us not despise them,

neglect them,

or abuse them.

Restore our love for our children and families.

The way of the righteous is plain an raised like a highway, Proverbs 15:19 Amplified Bible

Let us be prepared for the future

By seeking You and Your ways

Let us not look for a crisis

But look for Your shelter and protection

Fill us with Your wisdom

Guide us in every decision

Orchestrate our lives.
