When the sun rises, and the dawn comes, the light dispels the darkness. When the light first begins to break the horizon, things look gray. They may seem a little distorted. There might be confusion and misinterpretation.
People who have been asleep might oppose the light and be annoyed by it. The sleep, the foggy brain, and the distortion of the gray light might cause confusion and unclear vision until the light fully arises. We pray for the dawn to come to Waterford. For the Son to arise, and continue to rise until there is full light.
An alarm clock is annoying at first. People might oppose the alarm when they first hear it because they don't want to wake up. They might not want to face the day. But once they are fully awake, they can live life to the fullest. We pray for the light to arise, the alarm to sound, and people to wake up!
