Today's prayer walk was in the southeast quadrant of the Township from Cass Lake Rd/Cass Elizabeth Rd to Tim Horton's at M59 and Cass Lake Rd.
Starting out I felt like there was a line of angels following me! The timing was perfect, between rain showers.
2 Chronicles 7:14: If My people, who are called by My name, shall humble themselves, pray, seek, crave and require of necessity My face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven, forgive their sin, and heal their land. (Amplified Bible). Started out praying for the healing of the land, of Waterford Township.
As I was praying for all people of the township-young old etc- to have dreams, visions, divine encounters and godly coincidences I realized I was praying as the prophet Joel prophesied. "And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions and your old men shall dream dreams: And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall propesy:" (Acts 2:17-18).
Prayed that God's presence would cover the township so everyone would feel it-believers and unbelievers, young and old. That the churches would be filled with His presence, but not just the churches, the whole township.
Jesus said in John 12:32 that if He be lifted up from the earth He would draw all men to Him. He was talking about how He would die, but as we continue to "lift Him up" today, preaching the gospel and honoring and exalting Him in our lives, people will continue to be drawn to Him. Prayed that the God's people would do this.
1 Kings 18:21: "Elijah came near to all the people and said, How long will you halt and limp between two opinions? If the Lord is God, follow Him! But if Baal, then follow him...." Prayed that God's people would not be divided in their hearts but would have a pure, focused and committed heart that follows the Lord. That no longer will God's people compromise their faith in God.
The faith in Waterford now may seem small like a mustard seed, but my prayer is that Waterford at its core become like that mustard seed planted that grows into an unshakeable and unmoveable tree. (Mark 4:30-32).
Will continue praying these Scriptures throughout the week, remembering that God's Word does not return to Him void, but accomplishes what He sent it to do!
